The hall was full to bursting last Friday for our annual Harvest Festival. Every class performed a poem, song or short reading reflecting on the harvest theme, and families filled the back of the hall with donations for the local food bank.

Reception sang a Harvest song they had been learning all week (with actions). Year 2 performed a poem they had written together about where our food comes from. Years 5 and 6 led a short reflection on harvest celebrations around the world.

The food bank collected over [number] items — a record for our school, and a generous response from a community we are proud to be part of. Thank you to everyone who contributed.

Photographs from the morning are available in the Gallery section of the website.
